DumbbellConnect Handle Is Not Working

If you’re having trouble with your DumbbellConnect Handle, you may be experiencing a charging issue. Please use the following steps to ensure your unit is charging properly or watch this short video. 

1. Make Sure Your Handle Is Charged

• Plug the base into a working power supply. 
• Be sure to use a USB to USB-C charging cord.
• Ensure that there are two battery icons on your base, one for the base and one for the handle. 
• If the handle battery icon is flashing, allow the handle to charge for 3 hours, or until the battery icon is solid. 

The dumbbell handles only charge when they are seated on the base with the base plugged in and charging. You should see two battery icons on the screen, one on the left for the base, and one on the right for the handle. If the handle battery icon is missing, and your handle is sitting on the base, your handle does not have a charge. Please plug the unit in, and allow the handle to charge for 3 hours to fully regain its battery life. 

2. Make Sure Your Base Is Charged

• Plug the base into a working power supply. 
• Be sure to use a USB to USB-C charging cord.
• Press the plus or minus button to wake up the base. 
• Ensure that the base battery icon is animated, and allow the base to charge for at least 3 hours. 

If the base has gone without a charge, it will not turn on, and the unit will not operate. Please ensure that the base is plugged in and allowed to charge on a regular basis.

3. Properly Seat The Handle On The Base

• Plug the base into a working power supply. 
• Make sure you are using a USB to USB-C charging cord
• Ensure that the battery icon appears when the handle is placed on the base. 
• Wait for the handle to beep. 
• After the beep, your handle is properly seated. 

If the handle is not seated properly, or if there are any gaps in between the weight plates, the handle will not adjust weight. Please ensure that the handle and weights are all seated and aligned with no spaces or gaps. The handle will beep after being correctly seated on the base.
